The Post-Gazette has signed an agreement with Continental Real Estate Cos. to move its editorial operations and some of its business operations to a newly constructed building near Heinz Field on the city’s North Shore.
The agreement comes two months after the Post-Gazette opened its new printing facility near the airport in Clinton.
Post-Gazette publisher and editor in chief John Robinson Block said the operations would move to the new site while the current building, at the foot of the Boulevard of the Allies, was being renovated.
“We intend to return to our longtime site a few steps from where the Pittsburgh Gazette first appeared in 1786,” Mr. Block said. Officials at the Post-Gazette said the move would occur sometime in the early spring.
