PG reporter Gary Rotstein and PG drama critic emeritus Chris Rawson will be honored with the “Service to Journalism Award” by the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania for their tireless work in founding, writing and producing the Guild co-sponsored “Off the Record” satirical review. The duo will receive the prestigious award at the Golden Quill Awards dinner May 22 at Sheraton Station Square.
Over the past 13 years, “Off the Record,” has raised $300,000 for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and $30,000 for scholarships the Guild awards annually to two college journalism students.
