Each side basically restated their positions: The Guild said it would not agree to any more cuts and wanted money in this contract while the Company said it is losing money and needs more from the Guild.
The two parties spent the session going through the Guild proposal and while there were a few agreements on minor, non-economic items, it mostly was an exercise in explaining why the Guild was proposing something and why the Company was opposed to it.
No date has been set for any future negotiating session. Meanwhile, the entire Unity Council will meet with the Company on Friday at the Company’s request.
